Date Set

Just a quick update today. We decided to schedule Carly's surgery for next Wednesday, October 1. The surgery will begin at 8:30 am, and we will stay at home the night before and walk up to the hospital for a 6:30 check-in time.

One of our friends, Chris Jensen, has posted a healing meditation for Carly. We want to share it with others so if you are interested in reading it click here. Below are a couple photos from our daily walks the last few days. The redwood tress of Muir Woods were particularly peaceful.

Love, Brad

Brad,
Thanks for posting all this information. The pictures are wonderful, and I really appreciate you taking this time to keep us all "up-to-date." I certainly will be praying for little Carly, and I will also go to the healing page and participate in that as well. Take care~lots of love from the Midwest!
Love,
Kara

Dear Ones, We read and reread your postings. Thank you for sharing your photos and the info regarding Carly's care. My mother always said she drew strength from her visits to the redwoods. Wish we were there to hug all of you. We send our love, our prayers and healing thoughts for your precious daughter, Carly. Much love, Uncle H. and Aunt J.

Dear Brad, Christa and Carly,

I am and will be thinking of you. I am confident that Carly is in very good hands at UCSF (and with parents like you!) and feel very positive. She is so cute!

From someone praying for you from afar, be strong in your faith, the Lord has her in good hands. UCSF gave me back my life and is an incredible place of healing and new beginnings. Know that there are others in the world holding you in prayer and lifting your beautiful girl up to our most gracious and loving God!
